  • Measure the impact of genetic correlation structure for an NIH funded study about the portability of Genome-Wide Association Studies across populations of different ancestry. This research was presented at five conferences, and a paper will be sent for publication in the next couple of months.
  • Conduct statistical association analysis to identify genetic determinants of COVID-19 susceptibility and severity as part of the Michigan Genomics Initiative effort to contribute to the COVID-19 Host Genetics Initiative. More about the initiative here https://www.covid19hg.org .
  • Develop method to increase predictive ability of polygenic risk scores in under represented populations.
  • Conduct literature review for data integration methods and run simulations for a comparative performance analysis of the methods.
